Aposán Scar Reducer Dressing, 5 units of 5 cm x 7.2 cm

It is important to wash your hands before using Aposán Scar Reducer Dressing. In addition, the scar area should be carefully cleaned and dried, making sure that the skin is completely dry and free of any cream, ointment or oil.

When opening the dressing envelope, the protective layers need to be gently separated. The dressing should then be placed evenly over the scar, avoiding creases and making sure that all edges are fixed to the skin. If necessary, the dressing can be trimmed to fit the size of the scar, but it is important not to separate the protective layer before doing so and to ensure that it is the right size to adhere to the healthy skin surrounding the scar.

Once in place, the dressing can remain on the skin for up to 7 days, depending on the type of scar. It is also waterproof if applied correctly, without creasing and with all edges securely attached to the healthy skin.

To remove the dressing, gently lift one corner of the dressing and gently pull it away from the skin by lifting the edges. If the dressing starts to peel off, it is advisable to replace it with a new one.
