The RÜSCH two-way silicone bladder catheter is primarily indicated for patients with urinary incontinence, who have undergone surgery and/or control of the amount of urine secreted.
The RÜSCH silicone bladder catheter has two channels and a balloon with a capacity of approx. 10ml.
The silicone is biocompatible, biostable and non-alienic. Its surface prevents the formation of incrustations.
High drainage capacity, suitable for long-term use.
High level of patient comfort.
Approximate length of 41cm.
The catheter is flexible, has optimal tissue compatibility and does not cause irritation to mucous membranes.
Full tip according to Tiemann.
Valve for Luer and Luer-lock syringe fittings.
For single use only.
Sterile.
After several weeks, the balloon catheter usually shows no symptoms of encrustation in the lumen of the catheter. As it is transparent, it can be visualised and evaluated.
The shank and tip of the catheter turn yellow to dark brown as the encrustation increases.
The catheter should be replaced when it becomes light brown in colour.
