Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is suitable for adult cats with a tendency to overweight in the treatment of lower urinary tract diseases.
It dissolves stones and reduces their recurrence due to its urine acidifying properties and low magnesium content.

Food for adult cats with a tendency to be overweight, in cases of sterilisation or with low activity in lower urinary tract treatments. Recommended period of use: For the dissolution of struvite uroliths, a dietary treatment of 5 to 12 weeks duration is required. To prevent recurrence of urolithiasis, treatment should be continued for at least 6 months, and a veterinary examination should be carried out.
This food is contraindicated in: pregnant or lactating females, growing females, patients with chronic renal insufficiency, metabolic acidosis, cardiac insufficiency, hypertension and in the use of urine acidifying drugs.
Recommendations for use: In older cats it is recommended that a renal function check is performed before administering Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie. Important: In case of recurrent idiopathic cystitis, Urinary S/O Feline wet food is preferable.
