Virbac Adult Neutered Cat contains 44% protein, 90% of which is of animal origin.
Neutered adult cats are predisposed to suffer from two major problems: excess weight and lower urinary tract disease, so it is essential to adapt their diet to prevent these pathologies.
Control of body weight. The low concentration of energy in the diet, and adapted daily rations, the increase in fibre to achieve greater satiety and the supplement of L-carnitine which limits the increase in fat, all contribute to greater control of body weight.
Urinary health. The high level of animal protein stimulates water intake, increases urine output and helps stabilise pH for a healthy urinary system. Chitosan supplementation helps regulate urinary phosphorus elimination and prevents the formation of struvite crystals.
Maintains kidney function. The high protein levels contribute to increased water consumption which, together with the controlled phosphorus content, helps to maintain healthy kidney function.
Dental tartar control. Thanks to the incorporation of special ingredients that help limit the formation of dental plaque and tartar, which ensures good oral health.
Skin and coat support. High levels of animal protein and the right balance of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids help improve skin function for a healthy, shiny coat.

Dehydrated pork and poultry protein, potato starch (min. 4%), hydrolysed pork and poultry protein, peas, broad bean pods, animal fats, lignocellulose, minerals, rice (min. 4%), linseed, beet pulp, brewer's yeast, psyllium fibre (Plantago (L.) spp.), fructo-oligosaccharides, hydrolysed crustaceans (source of chitosan), chondroitin sulphate, Lactobacillus acidophilus.
