Advance cat food
Advance Renal Failure Feline is a kibble food formulated to provide a complete diet specially designed for adult cats with kidney problems.
Suitable for cats suffering from renal failure and calcium oxalate urolithiasis, it is also recommended for cats suffering from liver disease associated with encephalopathy, early congestive heart failure and hypertension. With a moderate content of quality protein, Advance minimises the intake of non-essential amino acids, thus reducing the production of nitrogenous waste. It is low in sodium to compensate for and regulate the kidney's inability to excrete, stimulates neutral urine pH and prevents the formation of recurrent oxalate stones. Its low phosphorus content helps prevent hyperphosphataemia and slows the progression of degeneration of kidney function.
It also acts as a potassium supplement and helps prevent deficiency states associated with diuresis and the use of diuretics. Excellent supplementation of B vitamins, this product prevents deficiency states due to the increased excretion of water-soluble vitamins through the urine. This food for cats with renal problems has a high content of omega 3 fatty acids to help control glomerular hypertension. Its bioflavonoids act with vitamins E and C to enhance the antioxidant effect and reduce cellular oxidative damage. This product is not recommended for animals with health problems requiring a high protein or phosphorus intake.
