Like all medicines, Quocin may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. In this case, possible side effects are due to misuse or overuse of the product.
If the product comes into contact with healthy skin when applied, irritation, redness, inflammation of the skin (dermatitis), peeling, burning, pain and even ulceration may occur. Mild irritation may also occur in the healthy area surrounding the wart or callus even if the medicine is used correctly. In this case, treatment should be temporarily discontinued.
If the irritation improves, treatment can be continued; when resuming treatment, special care should be taken to ensure that the medicine is in contact only with the callus or wart. If the irritation becomes more severe or other adverse effects occur, treatment should be discontinued and the doctor should be informed.

This medicine is in the form of a clear liquid solution which forms a flexible film on the area of application. It is very simple to use. Just soak the area to be treated for a few minutes to soften it, dry it and apply the product to the area, taking care not to rub against healthy parts of the skin. If desired, it can be covered for 12 hours with a plaster.
