Prim Excellent Sling Size M

The Excellent sling by Prim is a therapeutic product, designed to aid in the recovery of arm or shoulder injuries. Its use is designed to place the forearm in a resting position and limit its movement to prevent pain or worsening of the injury. It also serves as a point of support for the arm, which will take pressure off the shoulder and help the injured area heal more quickly.

The product is bilateral, so it can be used on either the left or right side of the body. Its method of adjustment is by plastic buckles on the strap that goes on the shoulder opposite to the injury. On the shoulder side, the product has a rubber support, which makes it more comfortable to wear.

It is specifically indicated for individuals who have an injured shoulder or arm or who have undergone surgical treatment that requires immobilisation. As it is size M, the product is designed for people with a forearm and palm length of between 30 and 42 cm, whether they are men or women. It is suitable for people who are allergic to latex, as the fabric used does not contain latex.

To use the sling correctly, it is advisable to position the injured arm or the arm with the injured shoulder inside the textile fabric. Then, pass the strap that holds the sling over the head and place it on the opposite shoulder, so that the product is as fixed as possible and the arm is kept in a resting position at an angle of approximately 90 degrees.

The strap that holds the product is adjustable and can be adjusted to suit the individual wearer. On the textile part of the product, where the arm should be positioned, there is a ring at one end. This ring is for the thumb, so it also serves as a guide when placing the sling in the correct position.

It is not recommended to use for long periods of time if no improvement is noticed, as keeping the arm in one position for a long time can be counterproductive.
