The bones of the neck are connected by tendons and ligaments. A cervical sprain is a stretch or tear in one of these ligaments and is usually caused by turning or extending the neck quickly or abruptly. Cervical sprains can cause pain, tightness and tingling in the neck and shoulders, limited range of motion and headache. It is a product that has been made with high density foam (30 kg/m3) to allow the neck to be adequately supported. The base contains a weatherstrip to provide extra firmness to the collar.
