Oculotect is an eye drop with ocular moisturising and lubricating action to relieve the symptoms of dry eyes.

Oculotect is a medicine whose active ingredient is povidone K25, which has a moisturising and lubricating action and is therefore indicated to relieve the symptoms of dry eyes.
It comes in a convenient pack of 20 single doses.
Intended for use in adults with dry eyes.
The normal dose is 1 drop in the dry eye or eyes, 4 times a day or as often as necessary.
The contents of each single-dose pack are sufficient to treat both eyes in a single application.
Do not use Oculotect:
In case of allergy to povidone K25 or to any of the excipients.
Oculotect may cause side effects, as with all medicines on the market. This does not mean that everyone will experience side effects. In this case, the following have been observed:
Frequent: mild, transient stinging or itching sensation in the eye (eyes).
Very rare: Irritation, allergic reaction.
Frequency not known: blurred vision, pain in the eye, itching of the eye, redness of the eye.
If you experience headache, eye pain, changes in vision, eye irritation, continued redness, or if symptoms worsen or persist, you should stop taking Oculotect eye drops and consult your doctor.
The active substance in Oculotect is povidone K25. Each ml contains 50 mg povidone K25. The other excipients are: boric acid, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment and purified water/water for injections.
This medicinal product does not contain any preservatives.
Oculotect eye drops are supplied as single-dose, clear, almost colourless aqueous solution in 0.4 ml unidose packs. Each pack contains a sterile solution until opened. Once opened, the contents of the single-dose pack should be used immediately and not stored.
