Linitul 5.5 x 8 cm Small Impregnated Dressing 10 sachets

It comes in a gauze containing an unctuous mass that is used as a healing agent, which acts by stimulating blood flow and reducing desiccation in the affected area.

In this way, it promotes the healing of wounds, pressure ulcers and varicose ulcers.

It contains 10 individual sachets and comes in a small size of 5.5 x 8 cm.

It is intended for use by adults over 18 years of age.

Apply the gauze on the affected area, previously clean and dry. It is recommended to apply with a tweezers, previously disinfected with alcohol.

The gauze should be changed every 12 or 24 hours, according to the doctor's instructions.

Do not use Linitul:

• In children under 18 years of age, due to lack of studies on the paediatric population.

• In case of allergy to any of the components of this medicine.

• In skins with acne.

• If you suffer from inflammatory dermatosis (superficial inflammation of the skin, with redness, moisture, fluid retention, scaling, itching, etc.) and recent arterial blood clots (produced in an artery).

• During pregnancy and lactation, unless recommended by a doctor.

Linitul impregnated dressings may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, it may cause skin reactions, as it contains balsam of Peru. This component may cross-react with Tolu balsam and some essential oils used as flavouring agents on sensitive skin.

It may also cause: allergic reactions such as contact dermatitis and a stinging sensation at the application site.

Each gram of mixture contains the soluble fraction of 18.5 mg of balsam of Peru and 167.8 mg of castor oil as active ingredients. The rest of the excipients are: filmy petroleum jelly, liquid petroleum jelly, beeswax, solid paraffin and tulle.

Linitul impregnated dressings are made of polyester tulle and are therefore very flexible. They are also available in different sizes to suit different patient needs.

They are widely used for burns and wounds. It is recommended not to touch the product with your hands to avoid infections.
