HANSAPLAST PRINCESS are sterile dressings in the form of plasters that are specially designed to protect children's skin from small wounds or superficial cuts. These band-aids cover minor injuries by forming a kind of protective barrier against dirt or possible bacterial attack that can worsen injuries, thus providing additional protection and pain relief. They have a cushioned pad in the middle to absorb oozing or exudate without adhering completely to the wound. This allows sufficient air to enter the wound so that the skin does not macerate and thus allows adequate blood circulation, improving the healing process. They have a pleasant and tolerable texture when in contact with the skin. They are also highly resistant to water and remain in the dermis thanks to their good adhesion until the affected area is completely healed.
In this way, they stay in place even during constant movement or in the presence of moisture. Then, disinfect, clean and dry the wound or cut and then remove the adhesive of the plaster to proceed to place it with the part of the pad centred towards the area of the wound. After this, it is advisable to apply light pressure and stretch the bandage sideways to avoid creases. The brightly coloured patterns are safe for children's skin.
