Callicide Kendu 10 gr

It is a medicine formulated with highly concentrated salicylic acid, an active ingredient that has keratolytic properties, producing a softening and subsequent destruction of the stratum corneum of the skin.

Its use is indicated for the elimination of corns, calluses, hard skin and crow's eyes.

Indicated for use on adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

For children from 2 to 14 years of age, use only under medical supervision. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use.

Apply a small amount of Callicida Kendu once a day, before going to bed. The amount should be sufficient to cover the callus, hardness or cock's eye you wish to eliminate.

After about 6 days, the callus will begin to flake off on its own or with the help of a wash or warm water bath.

If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after a rest period of 5 days.

• Do not use Callicida Kendu in children under 2 years of age or in case of allergy to salicylic acid, salicylates or any of the excipients present in this medicine.

• Do not use if you suffer from peripheral circulation problems, if you are diabetic or on red, inflamed or irritated areas.

Callicide Kendu may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will suffer from them.

In particular, the application of this product may cause: irritation, burning and itching, even dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) and local ulceration. In these cases, it is recommended to suspend treatment temporarily until the irritation disappears. When resuming treatment, special care should be taken to ensure that the ointment only comes into contact with the callus.

The active ingredient of Callicida Kendu is salicylic acid. Specifically, each gram of ointment contains 500 mg of salicylic acid (50 %). The other excipients: white filmy petroleum jelly and paraffin oil.

This homogeneous white ointment is very creamy to the touch and comes in an aluminium tube containing 10 g of ointment.

After each application, the area should be covered with a gauze pad or plaster, avoiding touching the face, eyes, mucous membranes and genitals. Wash hands thoroughly after each application.
