It is a medicine that contains the water-soluble vitamins vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Benexol is indicated in deficiency states of vitamins B1, B6 and B12, reduced absorption or reduced intake, which could manifest as back pain, convalescence or insufficient diets.
Suitable for use in adults and children over 14 years of age.
The usual dose is one tablet a day. In general, it is recommended to administer this medicine for 14 days, although your doctor may advise a longer period.
Do not use Benexol B1, B6, B12 in:
Children under 14 years of age is contraindicated.
Patients with allergy or hypersensitivity to the vitamins of group B or any of the excipients present in the composition of the medicine.
In patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency.
In alcoholic patients. It is contraindicated to take this medicine with alcohol intake, as alcohol reduces the absorption of these vitamins.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Like all medicines, Benexol Vitamins B1, B6, B12 can produce adverse effects, which does not mean that all patients will suffer them. The active ingredients in each of the 30 Benexol B1-B6-B12 tablets are: Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) and Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Each tablet contains 250 mg of thiamine hydrochloride, 250 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride and 1,000 micrograms of cyanocobalamin. The other ingredients are: mannitol (E-421), colloidal anhydrous silica, povidone K90, magnesium stearate, pregelatinised potato starch, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), carboxymethylcellulose, Macrogol 6000, talc and glycerol triacetate.
This medicine comes in pink tablets, which should be swallowed with water and not chewed.
If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.
