It is a multivitamin medicine whose formula contains two fat-soluble vitamins: A and E.
- Vitamin A: it is involved in a large number of important functions that occur in the body, for example, to promote defences, vision, skin and bones.
- Vitamin E: has an antioxidant action that protects against free radicals.
The use of this drug supports the general state of the body's defences, as well as vision, skin and mucous membranes.
Designed to treat vitamin A and E deficiencies caused by insufficient diet or periods of convalescence in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
Do not take Auxina A+E:
- If you are under 14 years of age.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you are allergic to vitamin A, E or to any of the components included in this medicine.
- If you suffer from hypervitaminosis A.
Take 1 capsule a day with a little water, preferably at mealtimes. It is important to avoid consuming foods with high amounts of vitamin A to avoid a cumulative dose. Generally, treatment should not exceed 2 weeks, unless expressly advised by a doctor.
Always follow your doctor's recommendations before increasing doses and/or treatment time to avoid side effects.
Auxin A+E may cause side effects, as with other medicines, which does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. These possible side effects are related to vitamin A, mainly due to over-medication or prolonged use, and may include:
- Headache, double vision, drowsiness or insomnia.
- Gastric discomfort, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting,
- Inflammation of the gums, cheilitis.
- Skin rashes, dryness of hair and mucous membranes, hair loss, changes in skin colour.
- Skin reactions due to increased photosensitivity.
- Osteoporosis, calcifications, bone or muscle pain.
- Blood clotting disorders.
- liver disorders
- Emotional disturbances.
Each softgel of Auxin A+E contains 5,000 IU of vitamin A and 10 mg of vitamin E . The other excipients are: olive oil, gelatine, glycerol (E-422), purified water, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216) and orange yellow S (E-110).
Auxin A+E is a medicine made up of two fat-soluble vitamins, which have multiple functions in the body, including the antioxidant action of vitamin E and the influence of vitamin A on the immune system, the skin and eyesight.
