Vitamin A and E capsules to alleviate deficiencies caused by insufficient diet, convalescence or other reasons.
Contains 20 capsules.
It is a medicine containing fat-soluble vitamin A, which is involved in numerous processes such as maintaining the integrity of the skin, eyesight, bone development and defence mechanisms; and fat-soluble vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant in fats, preventing the release of free radicals.
This drug is indicated for patients with insufficient levels of these vitamins due to unbalanced diets, convalescence or other reasons, to improve the condition of the skin, mucous membranes, eyesight and defences.
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
The usual dose is one capsule a day, although the doctor may indicate up to a maximum of 3 a day depending on the patient's condition.
Children under 14 years of age are contraindicated.
Patients allergic to vitamin A and E or any of the other substances contained in this medicine are contraindicated.
It is contraindicated to take this medicine with alcohol intake, as alcohol decreases the absorption of these vitamins.
Pregnancy and lactation: contraindicated.
Like all medicines, Auxin A+E may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: These are mainly due to long-term intake of vitamin A and include: headache, insomnia, inflammation of the lips, dry hair, hair loss, discolouration of mucous membranes, osteoporosis, emotional disturbances, etc.
The active ingredients are: Vitamin A (as retinol palmitate) and Vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate). Each softgel contains 5,000 IU of vitamin A and 10 mg of vitamin E. The other ingredients are: olive oil, gelatine, glycerol (E-422), purified water, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216) and orange yellow S (E-110).
Auxin A+E are clear orange round gelatin capsules containing a yellow oily solution. They should be taken with water and preferably with meals.
