Otifree ear cleaner for dogs and cats is a washing solution for cleaning the ear canal of these pets. It contains calendula extract, which softens, moisturises and makes the epidermis of the auricle more resistant. It acts as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory and, in the case of light and superficial wounds, calendula helps them to heal. Otifree Vetoquinol removes dirt from the outer ear, earwax and secretions, while keeping the hair follicles clean. It also reduces the bad smell caused by otitis and promotes epithelialisation.
It is a hygiene product for dogs and cats whose flexible applicator packaging facilitates the administration of the washing solution. The instructions for use are simple, just fill the animal's ear canal and massage the flexible area of the ear so that the liquid moves up and down. In this way the dirt is washed out and expelled. Your pet will shake its head to remove the remaining dirt in the ear canal. If the ear is badly affected, remember to always consult your vet.

Instructions for use: Distribute the washing solution throughout your pet's ear canal. Massage gently from top to bottom, especially in the most flexible part of the canal, and make sure the solution is moved to both sides for better removal of dirt to the outside. Depending on the sensitivity of your pet's ear, massage more or less intensely. With a little cotton wool, the solution will be absorbed into the pinna. Let go of your pet's head and shake it vigorously to expel the dirt particles. This mechanism can be repeated again if the ear is very dirty.
Precautions for use: Please note that ear swabs should only be used by professionals, due to the risk of injury to the animal if not used correctly. Consult your vet if the ear is very affected, i.e. if you see that the discharge is excessive, has a bad smell, your dog tilts his head a lot or it simply bothers him when you touch his ear.
