The complete formula of Sonotix ensures a triple action:
- Fast and efficient removal of cerumen clusters thanks to the combination of 3 ceruminolytic agents.
- Maintenance of healthy ears thanks to glycerin, the main moisturising agent, calendula, a soothing agent, capryloylglycine and undecylenoylglycine, which contribute to the regulation of sebum production.
- Odour neutralisation thanks to a lemon scent.
Sonotix is pH neutral, does not contain preservatives or parabens for good tolerance.
Indications and target species:
Dogs and Cats: maintenance and cleaning of sensitive ears at risk of otitis (atopic dogs, ...). Complete cleaning of the ear canal before the application of a local treatment during otitis externa.
Mode of administration:
- Fill the ear canal with the solution and gently massage the flexible area at the base of the ear in an upward direction, so that the liquid moves up and down and loosens the dirt particles in the external ear, bringing them to the surface. The intensity of the massage should be adapted to the sensitivity of the ear. After the massage, wipe the fluid from the outer ear with cotton wool or gauze.
- After releasing the animal, it should shake its head to remove any remaining dirt in the ear canal. In case of extremely dirty ears, the cleaning process can be repeated.
Dosage:
Cleaning is recommended 1 to 2 times a week for maintenance and during erythematous otitis, a few minutes before treatment. During ceruminous or seborrheic otitis, frequency of use should be increased to once daily.
