Veroval Early Pregnancy Test + Weeks

With the early pregnancy test with week indicator you can find out whether you are pregnant from the tenth day after fertilisation (i.e. even before the first missed period). And if so, which week of pregnancy you are in. The Early Pregnancy Test will tell you whether you are pregnant if your urine hCG concentration is 12 IU/L (International Units per litre). If the result is positive, you should discuss with your gynaecologist how to proceed.

The early pregnancy test with week indicator has been developed with the aim of offering the accuracy and reliability of modern diagnostics also for home use. It is based on the immunological detection of the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) and is the state of the art in medical research. Functionality evaluation studies confirm a reliability of more than 99%.

Results :

A sensitivity and specificity of over 99% was calculated for this test in a clinical study with 43 patients, including women with very low hCG values as well as women who could be pregnant. The reference values were derived from hCG analysis using a hormone analyser.

No - all you need is a watch with a second hand and, if you prefer the beaker method, a clean container. Instructions for the test can be found on the reverse side.

Storage:

- Store the early detection test with all its components at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C.

Shelf life:

- In case of storage as above, refer to the expiry date on the aluminium bag of the test device and on the outer packaging.

Reliability :

- Reliability is greater than 99%.

Application:

- Remove the test device from the foil pouch immediately before testing.

- We recommend testing in the morning, as the first morning urine has a higher concentration of hCG.

-Do not use if the foil pouch is open or the test device is damaged.

Disposal:

- All components can be disposed of in the household waste together with their outer packaging.

- The desiccant in the foil pouch may be discarded.

Important note:

If the hCG concentration is too low (e.g. if the test is performed too early or if the urine is too dilute), it is possible that the result will be negative even though you are pregnant. Likewise, it is possible that in case of a positive result, the pregnancy may be terminated, as is often the case in the first four weeks. Therefore, in case of uncertainty, always consult your gynaecologist and/or repeat the early pregnancy test.
