Tavonin 15 tablets

It is a medicine that improves circulation and is therefore indicated for the symptomatic treatment of cerebral microcirculation disorders (such as vertigo and tinnitus) or symptoms associated with circulatory insufficiency in the limbs (such as cramps and a feeling of coldness in the legs).

It comes in a convenient pack of 15 tablets.

Suitable for use in adults over 18 years of age.

Take 1 tablet a day, with a little water (equivalent to 120 mg of Ginkgo biloba extract a day).

If necessary, the dose may be increased to 2 tablets a day (240 mg of Ginkgo biloba extract a day).

Do not use Tavonin 120 mg:

• If you are allergic to Ginkgo biloba or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

• If you are under 18 years of age.

• Pregnancy, breast-feeding is not recommended without consulting a doctor, as there is insufficient data on the use of this medicine in these circumstances.

Like all medicines, Tavonin may cause side effects, but this does not mean that everybody will experience them. In particular, hypersensitivity, allergic shock or allergic skin reactions (redness, swelling, itching) may occur in some cases.

Adverse reactions mainly consist of gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain and nausea, but also headache, dizziness and vertigo or aggravation of existing vertigo.

Each Tavonin tablet contains 120.0 mg of dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves EGb 761® .

Excipients: Croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silica dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 1500, magnesium stearate, corn starch, microcellulose microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, magnesium stearate.corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, dimethicone, alpha octadecyl omega hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)5, sorbic acid (E-200), talc and colouring agents: titanium dioxide (E-171) and iron oxide red (E-172).

Tavonin tablets is a medicine whose active ingredient is extracted from the ginkgo biloba or Japanese walnut leaf. It comes in round red tablets that are easy to take, preferably with water and spaced out with meals.

It is advisable to maintain a healthy diet, exercise and adequate rest each day.
