The Air Projet Plus Ultrasonic Aerosol Nebuliser, manufactured by Pic, is a compact electric device designed to help nebulise users, both adults and children, thanks to its soft and adaptive mask. It does not need to be refilled with water, as its tank is able to withstand its entire useful life, which is approximately 1 year or 1000 nebulisation cycles. It works on the basis of ultrasound technology, which is extremely silent.
It is suitable for nebulising adults and older adults as well as children and adolescents in an easy, quick and simple way. Suitable for use with different essences and medical or aromatherapy solutions.
The way to use this device is simple, as its simple design makes it intuitive and very practical. The first thing to do is to place the detachable parts in the corresponding places. You can easily see where each part goes in the manual that comes with the product. Once it is correctly assembled, place the essence or aerosol product to be used in the appropriate opening and connect it to the mains.
Turn it on by pressing the power button, and place the mask or nasal fork on the patient. Inhale for the time and number of times recommended by your doctor, but always bearing in mind that it is advisable to inhale for a maximum of 10 minutes so as not to overheat the device.
Once the inhalations have been completed, switch off the device, disconnect it from the mains and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before using it again. It should be noted that the aerosol solution should not be applied beyond the reference located on the reservoir of the device. In addition, if the solution is more than 8 ml, it should be inhaled in several sessions, while if it is less than 3 ml, it should be diluted in a physiological solution to reach that amount.
Do not combine essences or solutions, if they are not designed for that purpose. It is not advisable to touch the device while it is operating, as it can become very hot. Do not carry out maintenance or repair work manually. In case of need, it should be taken to a Pic service centre.
