Nestlé Nancare Hydrate Pro contains 6 sachets of oral rehydration solution of 4.5 g each and 6 sachets of 2 g each of lactobacillus rhamnosus. Specially formulated for the management of dehydration resulting from diarrhoea and gastroenteritis.
Nestlé NanCare Hydrate Pro is a powder formulation with 6 sachets of oral rehydration solution (ORS) and 6 sachets of lactobacillus rhamnasus. These two solutions, acting together, help replenish lost electrolytes and water, provide salts, minerals, glucose and the probiotic rhamnosus GG, naturally present in breast milk.
Nestlé NanCare Hydrate Pro helps to treat and prevent dehydration in cases of diarrhoea or vomiting in infants. It also helps to restore the intestinal microflora and preserve its balance in the infant gut. Clinically tested ingredients developed with the health of infants and children in mind have been integrated into its preparation.
The oral rehydration solution provides the water, sodium, potassium and sugars that children need to avoid dehydration. It is a hypotonic solution, i.e. with a lower concentration of salts, so that it is gentle on children's stomachs.
On the other hand, the probiotic rhamnosus is safe and effective in the prevention and treatment of acute diarrhoea and diarrhoea associated with the ingestion of antibiotics. It is a lactobacillus that helps to shorten the duration of episodes and reduce symptoms, such as colic and gas, more quickly.
Nestlé NanCare Hydrate Pro is indicated for infants and children who are suffering from diarrhoea or are being treated with antibiotics. It is also useful for adults and for those who are allergic to gluten, lactose, palm oil and other animal proteins, as it is 100% free of these substances.
The entire contents of each sachet should be dissolved in 200 ml of previously boiled and rested water. Mix well until the ingredients are dissolved and offer it to the baby in sips and at intervals, without forcing the baby, as this may cause vomiting. The daily dose should be defined by the paediatrician based on the baby's or child's weight and level of dehydration. Once the solution has been prepared, it should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 12 hours. The sachets should be mixed with an adequate amount of water so as not to alter its properties.
This product is not suitable for premature babies or babies under 1 month of age.
