Nestlé Nancare FloraPro, 5 ml is a liquid solution containing L.rhamnosus GG, a beneficial bacterium that is present in breast milk and strengthens the intestinal flora. It is used to cope with acute diarrhoea in newborns.
Nancare FloraPro by Nestlé in a 5 ml bottle is a solution that has been manufactured to help in the treatment of severe diarrhoea in infants. It contains L.rhamnosus, which is a beneficial bacterium found naturally in breast milk. This micro-organism colonises the child's excretory tract and promotes the formation of intestinal flora.
During the first stage of life, babies' digestive systems are not adequately prepared for regular feeding or medication. This can lead to moderate to severe diarrhoea. Some paediatricians report that 62 % of newborns receiving antibiotic treatment may experience diarrhoea. The consumption of this product contributes to the child's stomach recovery and strengthens the digestive system.
This product can also be used to help treat colic caused by excess gas in the baby. It has also been used with positive results in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, bacterial vaginal infections and ulcerative colitis. It is also believed that its consumption can minimise the risk of lung infections in children attending day care centres.
It is made from natural ingredients and does not contain palm oil or gluten. The pack contains the amount needed for 15 doses.
It is suitable for babies with moderate to severe diarrhoea, whose parents or caregivers wish to contribute to their recovery and to strengthen the intestinal flora in a natural way.
Shake before use. Can be administered with milk or other beverage. Can also be given directly into the mouth or with a spoon. The recommended dose is 9 drops a day, although it can be modified by order of the paediatrician. Follow these recommendations:
