Muvagyn 10E8 Ufc/ 10E8 Ufc, 8 Vaginal Capsules is a medicine for vaginal use, which is used for the normalisation of the altered vaginal microbial flora (vaginal microbiota) after antibiotic treatment of bacterial vaginosis (bacterial vaginal infections).
Contains 8 capsules.
Medication for vaginal use. The bacterial strains Lactobacillus gasseri and Lactobacillus rhamnosus contained in Muvagyn are part of the natural vaginal microbial flora.
It is used for the normalisation of the vaginal microbial flora (vaginal microbiota) altered after antibiotic treatment of bacterial vaginosis (bacterial vaginal infections).
Also to maintain a normal vaginal microbial flora (vaginal microbiota) in case of recurrent vaginal infections.
Muvagyn Vaginal Capsules are not recommended for use in girls under 12 years of age.

The recommended dose of Muvagyn Vaginal Capsules for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is :
After antibiotic treatment of bacterial vaginosis (bacterial vaginal infection), for post-treatment:Insert 1 vaginal capsule deep into the vagina at night before bedtime for a period of 6 to 8 days.
To maintain a normal vaginal microbial flora in case of recurrent vaginal infections: Insert 1 capsule deep into the vagina at night before bedtime for a period of 4 to 6 days.
Menstruating women should start treatment immediately after menstruation.
Do not use Muvagyn Vaginal Capsules:
In combination with condoms or other local contraceptive methods (e.g. diaphragms) as reduced functionality cannot be ruled out. During treatment, you should not perform vaginal irrigations with antiseptics.
During menstruation.
Like all medicines, Muvagyn Vaginal Capsules may cause side effects, although not everybody suffers from them.
Frequency: not known (cannot be estimated from available data).
It is possible that local intimate skin reactions such as burning, itching or erythema may occur during use. In this case, Muvagyn should be discontinued. A slight vaginal discharge may occur which is harmless if it occurs in isolation and is due to the secretion of the capsule components.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist during the use ofMuvagyn if:
symptoms recur or get worse within a week
bloody discharge appears
