This spray comes in a 100 ml presentation. Its use is local, it is applied directly on the skin. It is an ideal product for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers type I and II. It is also used to treat skin burns caused by prolonged exposure to the sun. In addition, it helps to soothe irritations caused by nappy rash in children.
For best results, it is advisable to accompany the use of Mepentol with other actions, such as frequently changing the posture of the affected person.

The recommended dosage varies according to the needs:
In the case of the prevention and treatment of Stage I pressure ulcers, it is used after the patient's usual cleansing, Mepentol is sprayed on the area of the skin that is at risk, then the oil is spread with the fingertips. This application should be done 2 or 3 times a day.
A similar procedure is followed to treat Stage II pressure ulcers, as the product is applied after the usual cleansing has been carried out. Mepentol can be placed directly on the ulcer or a gauze can be sprayed and then applied to the affected area. Finally, it is advisable to cover the ulcer with a bandage.
In both cases, before applying Mepentol ulcer spray, the caregiver is advised to protect his/her hands with gloves.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and keep out of the reach of children.
