KIN Orthodontic Wax

KIN Orthodontic Wax is a microcrystalline wax that offers protection and relief from the various irritations, friction and injuries that arise from the use of orthodontic appliances, such as braces. This wax can cover all the edges of these appliances in order to prevent chafing of the gums, inner cheeks, lips, tongue and oral mucosa.

It is common for corrective and aesthetic orthodontic appliances to cause discomfort and small injuries, especially during the first few days of treatment, or during frequent adjustments. For this reason, Kin's protective wax can be applied directly so that chafing and injuries can be avoided. In the event of a wire breakage, the wax should be used as a palliative while a specialist is consulted.

It has an innovative format consisting of five 4.5 x 55 millimetre sticks, which makes it ideal to take anywhere, whether it is an informal meeting or a work meeting where it is likely, due to the movement of the mouth, to cause some discomfort.

KIN Cera Ortodoncia is a product indicated to prevent irritation caused by orthodontics on gums, tongue, lips and inner cheeks in people over 12 years of age.

It is recommended that routine oral hygiene is carried out before applying this product. Afterwards, the area where the wax will be applied should be dried as well as possible. Then, break off a piece of wax about the size of a pea and roll it into a ball with your fingers to make it easier to place. Next, apply pressure to the bracket to be covered. Make sure that the entire surface of the bracket is covered to avoid possible rubbing against the oral mucosa.

Keep this product in a cool and dry environment, away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep this product away from small children to avoid ingestion. It is not a solution for dental problems; therefore, consult your doctor. If allergic to any of the components of the formula, discontinue use.
