Gum Cera is a product that can be placed on top of braces to minimise the pain caused by the wounds they cause. It also aims to make healing easier and with a lower risk of infection.

Although orthodontics is a dental procedure that is intended to improve the smile, it tends to be painful on many occasions. Braces are a very hard metal device, which means that people can get hurt very easily. As the mouth is full of micro-organisms, there is a constant risk of infection. In order to prevent this, this product has the following features and benefits:

• The texture of this product is very malleable and can easily adhere to the Brackets. In this way, it can cover the brackets and minimise friction. There are two specific advantages. The first one has to do with the reduction of pain, as there will be no strong chafing. The second advantage is that the wound will not be aggravated.
• Beeswax is known to have anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It has the ability to make the wound gradually deflate. It also provides a good amount of nutrients to help it heal faster.
• It is not only used to help treat wounds, but also for those who are very sensitive. In this way, the mucous membranes are not easily irritated.

It is indicated for people who have orthodontics and have suffered an injury or simply have sensitive mucous membranes.

Place a small amount of wax on the bracket area, making sure that it comes into contact with the affected tissue. It is advisable to first perform a thorough cleaning to prevent infection (mainly by brushing and an antimicrobial rinse). This product should not be ingested, so it is advisable to remove it before eating and put some new wax on after tooth cleaning.

This product should always be kept in its original package. Keep in a cool, dry place.
