Ignatia amara globules are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of this medicinal product.

For homeopathic medicinal products, possible side effects derive from the pharmacological or toxicological properties of the raw materials or excipient(s). No clinical studies are available to report on the frequency of adverse reactions.
Warnings on excipients: Ignatia amara globules contain 0.038g lactose in 5 globules. Patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose absorption problems should not take this medicine. Ignatia amara globules contain 0.21g sucrose in 5 globules. Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose or galactose absorption problems, or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine. It may damage the teeth.
Each 4 g pack corresponds to a finished product with a single dilution. In this case, for 5 globules it would be:
Ignatia amara 200 CH........................................................................................... 0.0025 ml
Excipient(s) with known effect: sucrose (0.21 g) and lactose (0.038 g).
