VITIS dental flosser is a nylon-based product that is intended to facilitate dental flossing for people undergoing orthodontic treatment:

• Suffer from a dental narrowing that makes it impossible to introduce the floss as it is normally done.

• People who have braces cannot insert the floss because there is a wire that makes cleaning practically impossible. On the other hand, on many occasions, if a suitable accessory is not used, the filaments become entangled in the braces. This either damages the appliance or makes it very uncomfortable to remove the thread. In this case, the threader passes under the wire and reaches the tooth without any problem. In this way, no awkward manoeuvres have to be made.

To use the accessory without complications, follow these steps:

1. Cut a floss thread long enough for all teeth.
2. The threader has a space to insert the floss. It is best to tie it there so that it does not roll away, tying a very small knot.
3. To insert the floss into the tooth, use the tip and do it from the sides and not from the top of the teeth.
4. Once the threader has been inserted, pull it out so that the floss is in the middle of the teeth. This is when the cleaning is done.
5. Then pull it out again until the floss comes out completely and perform this procedure on the entire dentition.
