VITIS Dental Floss & Tape Applicator

VITIS dental floss and dental tape applicator is a device used to properly handle dental floss. Its design allows for greater control of the floss, reaching all the spaces between the teeth, where food debris can be deposited. Its use allows dental hygiene to be more complete than brushing. It is a device that is easy to handle, making it easier and quicker to clean teeth.

Although it might be thought that dental cleaning only refers to brushing, this is not the case. Sometimes, food debris can remain between the teeth, causing the formation of bacteria responsible for inflammation of the gums and other conditions in the oral cavity. The use of dental floss is a necessary complement to proper cleaning, as it is precisely what allows food debris to be removed and plaque to be eliminated. In other words, it reaches where the toothbrush cannot.

It is indicated for people who wish to complement their dental cleaning routine with the use of dental floss and do it in the right way.

First of all, it is recommended to assemble the applicator, i.e. cut 40 cm of dental floss and turn one end of the applicator clockwise to button A, then to point B and then to C. Finally, turn button A clockwise again.

Once the assembly is complete, the floss is inserted between the teeth with a sawing motion. When the tape reaches the gum, it should be bent against one of the teeth and slid upwards. Afterwards, it is rubbed against the teeth in order to remove food deposits. The whole process is done gently, never apply force to avoid injuring the gums. The process should be repeated for all teeth, using a clean part of the floss for each tooth.

The dental tape should be used after brushing, after each meal.
