SalviaMed tablets, a traditional herbal medicine used for the relief of menopausal hot flushes, night sweats and excessive sweating.
It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of occasional mild or moderate pain, such as headaches, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscular pain (contractures) or back pain (lumbago). Feverish states.
The recommended dose is: adults (over 18 years of age), take one tablet a day.
SalviaMed tablets is a medicine that is administered orally.
This product is not indicated for patients under 18 years of age.
Do not take SalviaMed tablets if you:
Are allergic to sage (Salvia officinalis) or to any of the other
components of this medicine.
If you are under 18 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Take special care with SalviaMed tablets
If symptoms worsen or no improvement is seen after 8 weeks of treatment, a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine contains sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, you should consult your doctor before using this medicine.
If you are being treated with anti-anxiety medicines such as benzodiazepines or barbiturates, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
As a precautionary measure and in the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The use of medicines during pregnancy may be dangerous to the embryo or foetus and should be monitored by your doctor.
Based on current knowledge, the ability to drive vehicles and use machinery is not affected.
One tablet of SalviaMed contains as active ingredient:
51 mg dry extract of fresh leaves of Salvia officinalis L, corresponding to 3400 mg extract (as tincture).
Dried plant equivalent: 200 mg per tablet.
The other ingredients are excipients:
Microcrystalline cellulose.
Sucrose laurate.
Hydrogenated cottonseed oil.
