Purina Veterinary Diets EN Gastroenteric wet food for small and adult cats with intestinal problems (diarrhoea, intermittent weight loss and vomiting, gastroenteritis and colitis, inflammatory bowel disease...) and food intolerance. Its protein content is limited, which reduces the allergic response and avoids digestive symptoms. It also has a high assimilation rate which prevents digestive overload and facilitates better absorption.
As a wet food, it is highly digestible and has an irresistible taste that is accepted even by inappetent animals. It stimulates the development of intestinal flora and improves digestive health with the added prebiotics (inulin). Its special formula with a high water content helps to care for the urinary health of the sick cat, preventing the formation of struvite and oxalate stones. It is also a food indicated for treating liver disease not associated with encephalopathy and for convalescent animals, however it is contraindicated in cats with hepatic encephalopathy and renal insufficiency.
