Native to Australia, the tea tree is a large, bushy evergreen shrub that was discovered by naturalists accompanying Cook on his voyage down the Endeavour River. They called it that because they used it as a substitute for tea, finding it fragrant and invigorating.

Take a maximum of 2 drops of tea tree essential oil 3 times a day in a Puressentiel neutral tablet (or 1 teaspoon of honey, olive oil or 1/4 teaspoon of sugar). Do not use pure tea tree oil without a carrier, or mixed with water.
