Cobalin, 60 capsules, is a nutritional supplement with easily administered vitamin B12 and B9 that helps maintain folate and cobalamin levels in dogs and cats. It helps animals with folate and/or cobalamin deficiency.
Cobalin is a nutritional supplement containing vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) and vitamin B9 (folic acid) in 60 capsules. It is specially formulated to maintain adequate levels of folate and cobalamin in dogs and cats suffering from deficiencies of these vitamins.
Lack of these nutrients can cause a range of symptoms, including loss of appetite, weight loss, lethargy, anaemia, neurological, psychological and haematological disorders. Cobalin is easy to administer, as it can be given in capsule form or mixed with the pet's food. It is recommended for dogs and cats of all ages and breeds, always in consultation with the vet, who will recommend the most appropriate dose to be given.
Cobalin is indicated for dogs and cats with folate and/or cobalamin deficiency. This may be caused by various diseases such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), dysbiosis, chronic enteropathies, intestinal neoplasms and hereditary cobalamin absorption disorders. Cobalin is suitable for all ages and breeds of dogs and cats.
This complementary food should be accompanied by good nutrition and an optimal lifestyle for best results.
The administration of Cobalin is simple and adapts to the weight of the animal. For dogs and cats weighing less than 10 kg, it is recommended to use half a capsule (or one capsule every other day). For those weighing between 10 and 20 kg, one capsule is recommended. For animals over 20 kg, two capsules are suggested. Cobalin can be administered on a long-term basis whenever necessary.
In addition, the capsule can be opened to mix the contents with food. This product should be given to the animal before breakfast for one month to begin to see results.
Despite having a palatability of 95% in pets, the only allergen present in Cobalin is the porcine gelatin capsule, especially in sensitive animals. However, the capsule can be opened for feeding the contents alone with other foods.
It is a product for veterinary use and should not be consumed by humans. If an allergic reaction to the product is observed, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
