Nutribound is a highly palatable, ready-to-use liquid formula. The combination of essential ingredients stimulates the animal to drink and eat until it returns to its normal diet.
Arginine Amino acid, a precursor of nitric oxide with an important role in immune function, wound healing and cell division.
Taurine: Organic substance with antioxidant properties and essential for the cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, retina and central nervous system.
Glutamine: Important role in maintaining the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract and in the immune system.
Essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and Omega 6): These fatty acids are required in biological processes such as sterol and phospholipid formation, cell growth and repair, and for the synthesis of prostaglandins, leukotrienes and thromboxanes.
Prebiotics (Inulin, Oligofructose): Prebiotics are natural soluble fibres found in low concentration in certain plants. They stimulate the growth and activity of health-promoting bacteria in the digestive system.
Vitamins: Vital organic compounds required by the body that must be obtained from the diet or specific supplements.
No preservatives or artificial colouring agents.
Directions for Use
When opening the bottle for the first time, unscrew the white cap and remove the safety film.
1 - Shake well before use. Sedimentation is possible.
2 - Dosage: If in doubt about the condition of the animal it is recommended to consult a veterinarian. The recommended daily dose is 6 ml per kg bodyweight, in one or several doses. Nutribound™ can be administered alone, in water or added to food. Water should be available to the animal at all times. Use the dosing device included in the box to adjust the dose and administer Nutribound™ as follows.
- Dogs up to 10kg: 15-30ml
- Dogs 10-20 kg: 20-50 ml
- Dogs over 20 kg: 50-70 ml
These doses are indicative.
Nutribound can be administered throughout the period of convalescence, from the earliest stage until the return to a normal diet.
The recommended protocol is divided into 3 phases:
- Initiation: Nutribound™ can be administered to the dog from the first hours of the convalescence period to provide rehydration and essential nutrients.
- Follow-up: After 48 hours, incorporation of food is necessary. To increase tolerance in severely affected animals, small, repeated intakes of highly digestible, energy-dense nutrients such as Nutri-plus gel are recommended in addition to Nutribound™.
- Transition: Nutribound™ can be administered with the usual diet to help the pet resume eating habits.
