Orravan Chlorhexidine 2% Aqueous Solution 60 ml

Orravan Chlorhexidine 2% Aqueous Solution is a product designed for cleaning and disinfecting healthy skin or skin undergoing surgery. Its formula is strong enough to guarantee a complete and effective disinfection of the area, thus preventing contaminating bacteria from remaining on the surface of the skin.

It is indicated to disinfect and cleanse the skin quickly and effectively. Recommended for adult patients, not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

To apply this product, the first thing is that the area of the skin where it is to be used is already clean and dry. It should be used directly, without diluting it. First apply an approximate amount of 3 ml to the hands and rub over the entire area to be treated. It is recommended to repeat the process about 3 times and that the product remains at least 5 minutes in contact with the skin.

Once the 5 minutes have passed, it is advisable to remove the excess product using gauze or cotton wool and leave the skin to dry in the open air.

The following is a list of the most relevant recommendations and contraindications for the correct use of this product in order to avoid adverse effects:

• Keep the product away from any source of heat or ignition, as it is flammable.
• When using on sensitive areas such as the face, make sure that it does not come into direct contact with the eyes or mucous membranes of the area. This can cause quite severe irritation. If it does happen, it is advisable to rinse gently with plenty of water.
• Do not mix with any other product, including soaps, detergents or other cleaning products.
• Keep out of the reach of small children, as they may accidentally ingest or apply it.
• Avoid use on skin areas with severe irritation, open wounds or severe burns.
• Do not use the product for a prolonged period of time or spread over large areas of skin, application should be targeted.
• Once the lid is opened, the product has a shelf life of approximately 3 months for the formula to be stable. After this time, a drop in the efficiency of the formulation and its stability can be seen, it is recommended to discard it.
