What is it and what is it for?

The First Choice teat, 0-6 months and flow S, is made of silicone by the NUK brand. It is a product that promotes baby feeding. Produced under high quality standards, the BPA-free medical silicone is cut and moulded using highly accurate machines, which leave no burrs or sharp edges in the cuts. The shape of the teat is anatomical, specifically designed to fit the child's jaw and contribute to its correct development. It is similar in shape and texture to the mother's nipple so that the baby feels comfortable sucking on it.

It has a ventilation system, ideal to help prevent colic. This system prevents the passage of air when the baby is sucking the food. It also helps to balance the pressure of the air that enters and exits so that the force of the suction does not deform the jaw or have a negative impact on the baby's oral development.

Who is it suitable for?

It is suitable for NUK, First Choice or breast milk bottles. Its flow corresponds to size S. Thus, the teat should be used for liquid drinks such as water, breast milk or natural infusions. The size of the product is specifically designed for the mouth of babies between 0 and 6 months. It is uncomfortable for older babies.

Instructions for use

It is advisable to use in one of the NUK bottles, specifically in the First Choice range, adapted to this type of teat. It can be easily fitted by fitting it into the corresponding slot on each bottle. Once in place, it is offered to the baby to suck on the teat. The bottle can be held by the baby or by the adult who is supervising the baby at the time. Once the feeding routine is complete, remove from the bottle and clean, preferably using lukewarm water and mild or neutral cleaning products so as not to degrade the silicone. Allow to air dry.

Contraindications

Do not place near sources of intense heat or sources of ignition. If any deterioration of the teat is observed, it is advisable to discard it. Keep out of sight and reach of small children. Discontinue use immediately if an allergic reaction occurs within the first day of use.
