The Calma teat is different, it has been specially created to mimic a baby's natural sucking behaviour, so that the baby will be able to feed and pause naturally according to his or her personal rhythm.
With conventional teats the milk flows on its own, so that the baby can no longer regulate the flow of milk and has to change its sucking behaviour. As a result, the baby does not return to the mother's breast eagerly, as he has to work harder to get milk.
Calma is only one size fits all. Just as breasts are the same throughout the entire breastfeeding period. Calma's flow, shape and length are designed to adapt to your baby's needs as he or she grows.
