Normodent Whitener is a product that contains active ingredients that progressively whiten teeth while helping to eliminate tartar. Among the benefits and characteristics of this product are the following:

• Papain is the active ingredient responsible for whitening and removing tartar from all teeth. Tartar is composed of a large amount of minerals and proteins. Papain has the ability to remove the peptide bonds of proteins so that they are broken down. As a result, tartar will not be able to adhere to the tooth and will be removed much more easily with a good dental hygiene routine.
• Aluminium hydroxide is a component commonly used in dentistry to coat and protect teeth after procedures. So its use in toothpastes gives a protective layer to the enamel.
• Fluoride is the other important component of toothpaste. It does not form a protective layer, but goes directly to improving the tooth enamel to make it much more resistant. In addition to this, it minimises the adhesion of bacterial plaque to prevent tooth decay and eliminate tartar.
