Desensin Plus toothpaste is a special formulation for the daily hygiene of people suffering from gradual tooth sensitivity. This toothpaste has anti-caries action and strengthens the enamel while regenerating and invigorating the gums.
Its composition includes potassium nitrate with desensitising action, which blocks the transmission of external impulses to the nerve endings of the teeth. This active ingredient is FDA approved for its efficacy in protecting the nerve endings at the gum line and reducing pain.
It also contains fluoride, which hinders the development of caries and stimulates remineralisation of tooth enamel. This component acts positively against the proliferation of dental bacteria and greatly reduces the risk of tooth decay.
In addition, allantoin and provitamin B5 care for and strengthen the gum tissue and contribute to its regeneration and de-inflammation. Allantoin also protects the health of the oral mucous membranes, reduces irritation and promotes the healing process of small oral wounds.
Vitamin E also has antioxidant, healing, moisturising, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing qualities on gingival tissue. This cream has a low level of abrasiveness, so it does not wear down or damage tooth enamel.
Desensin Plus is made with high quality materials and processes. It has also been tested to support the effectiveness and protection provided by each and every one of the components integrated in its formulation.
This toothpaste is indicated for young people from 12 years of age and adults who suffer from progressive sensitivity in their teeth.
It should be used 3 times a day to brush teeth especially affected by progressive sensitivity and to protect them from caries.
This toothpaste is not suitable for children under 12 years of age or for individuals with allergic reactions or intolerance to one or more of its components.
