Medilast Relax Silver Edition XL Sock is a strong compression stocking, intended to facilitate the rest and comfort of legs with varicose veins. It promotes proper venous circulation and helps to reduce the symptoms of heaviness and swelling.
The Relax Silver Edition Strong Compression Sock is a class III compression garment (30 to 40 mmHg) that promotes proper circulation in the feet and legs and facilitates the return of blood to the heart. It is useful in helping to reduce swelling, heaviness and tingling in people with varicose veins who are often on their feet or sitting for long periods of time due to work.
The strong compression range is often used for people with severe circulatory complications such as varicose veins and oedema. It is also suitable for those recovering from venous surgery or who have developed severe ulcers. Recommended for all day wear.
It is preferable that strong compression socks are used under the supervision of a specialist who will assess the severity of the problem and recommend their use as part of the solution.
Medilast socks are made with Clevertex technology, a breathable fabric that absorbs perspiration and allows the skin to breathe through the garment. The toe cap is elastic and does not exert any pressure on the toes.
The Relax line is designed to be non-pressing and non-marking with its elastic bands. This way, the garment will help feet and legs feel comfortable and rested after a long day's work.
This Silver edition is composed of silver threads in the plantar area, which will help prevent bacteria, fungi, viruses and bad odour from developing.
Silver thread socks with strong compression are indicated to improve venous circulation in people with severe circulatory problems such as varicose veins and oedemas. Also for people who have just undergone medical interventions related to ulcers and venous surgeries.
