Medilast Panty model R/101 is a type of normal compression stocking designed to improve blood flow and fluid drainage in the legs and at the same time relieve associated symptoms such as pain and heaviness.
Medilast normal compression stockings are therapeutic garments designed to help prevent or treat problems associated with blood circulation, providing the necessary support to the venous and lymphatic system thanks to the particular interlacing of its threads.
This small size, beige-coloured device, with a compression force of 22 to 29 mmHg, provides relief from certain ailments such as heaviness and fatigue, reduces pain and swelling in the legs and reduces the risk of developing deep vein thrombosis.
The use of Medilast Panty Class I is recommended for people who spend long hours on their feet or who, on the contrary, drive for long periods of time or go on long journeys. It is also recommended for pregnant women, as blood circulation problems are common during pregnancy.
First of all, make sure to turn the pantyhose inside out until it reaches beyond the heel. Then, insert the foot into the toe and make sure that the heel is well positioned at the bottom.
It is important not to roll up the Medilast compression stockings as you would a normal sock, as this can damage them. Instead, gently pull the stocking up to the instep and push the heel area up to the ankle.
Gently slide the sock up the leg and ensure that no creases form as the sock is pulled up. Once in place, go over the fabric with the palm of your hand to ensure that there are no wrinkles.
Do not use oils, creams or ointments with therapeutic stockings.
The use of gloves is suggested for the application of the pantyhose, as rings or rough edges can damage the mesh.
Avoid applying the pantyhose if the skin is still damp, as this makes it difficult for the therapeutic product to slide on.
If any discomfort, tingling or numbness is felt, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Improper handling of the product may cause risk of skin infection or pressure damage to peripheral nerves. Please note that compression stockings may cause itching, flaking and signs of inflammation on sensitive skin.
In case of product damage, do not repair the stockings.
Replace Medilast pantyhose every 6 months.
Polyamide, elastane.
