MARIES Ear Plugs 2 units are accessories that help to protect the ears from excessive environmental noise, which can cause hearing impairment and even hearing loss. They are also suitable for reducing the risk of water ingress during daily bathing or water sports.

Loud sounds caused by various everyday situations such as the operation of machinery, traffic or construction can damage the delicate structures of the inner ear. As a result, reactions such as tinnitus (ringing or whistling sensation) can develop. These earplugs have been developed in a soft material to help close the ear canal and thus reduce this risk.

They are made of comfortable foam. Once inserted into the ear cavity, they expand to cover as much space as possible inside the ear. They are designed to significantly reduce the perception of very loud sounds by sealing off the entrance to the ear. When removed, they return to their original size and can be used again.

• Carefully mould the earplugs with your fingers into a thin cylinder, taking care not to form folds.
• With the other hand, hold the tip of the ear upwards and then backwards to straighten the ear canal.
• Gently slide the earplug into the ear.
• With one finger, hold the earplug in the indicated position for 20 seconds to allow it to expand.
• To remove, gently twist from side to side until the pressure seal created with the ear canal is broken, then pull out.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from sources of heat or strong light.

Do not use if you have lacerations in the ear canal or if there is an infection in the ear canal.
