What is it and what is it for?

Acofar ear plugs made of wax and synthetic resin in a box of 6 units are ear canal protectors used to reduce environmental noise levels. They are suitable for people who are sensitive to noise or who cannot rest properly for this reason.

They are made of wax and synthetic resin for a comfortable fit in the ear canal. Their alveolar and porous composition stabilises the ambient temperature and promotes the sound insulation effect. They are resistant to different temperatures and water, so they can be used in the countryside, at the beach or at the swimming pool. At the same time, they are malleable with body temperature, making them suitable for different sizes and shapes of hearing aids. The use of inert materials reduces the risk of allergies or rejection reactions.

Who are they suitable for?

They are suitable for people who carry out their daily work exposed to high noise pollution, such as machine operators, engineers and others. They are also suitable for a variety of situations:

  • They promote rest and sleep when travelling by bus, train or plane.
  • They help concentration and intellectual work for people who need to work in noisy environments.
  • They reduce the risk of water, chlorine and bacteria entering the ear when practising water sports or swimming.
  • They protect the auditory system in people exposed to inflammation or infections.

How to use

For efficient sound isolation, place the earplugs in the ear canal and press gently until noise reduction is felt. Remain with the earplugs in place for as long as necessary.

  • With sanitised hands, soften the earplug and shape it with your fingers into a cylinder.
  • Insert it into the ear canal taking care not to force the protector into the ear canal. It should only cover the entrance.
  • Gently insert the earplug until it has adapted to the shape of your ear.

When you are finished using them, store them in the case intended for that purpose. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep them away from solvents, alcohol, dirt or other agents that may damage their structure. Never remove tampons with sharp objects that could break them or cause damage to the body.

Contraindications

Limit use to persons suffering from ear infections. Use with caution in case of extreme sensitivity in the ear canal.
