Adults and children over 30 months of age
The recommended dose is: Adults: 20 drops 3 times a day. Although no studies have been carried out to support paediatric dosage, the recommended dose in children over 30 months is: 5 drops to be taken throughout the day, with an interval of at least 4 hours between two intakes. Contraindicated for use in children under 30 months of age due to the presence of alcohol. Maximum duration of treatment: 15 days in adults and 5 days in children from 30 months of age. Oral use. This medicine contains 178 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per 20 drops or 44 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per 5 drops. The amount by volume of this medicinal product is equivalent to 4.4 mL of beer or 1.8 mL of wine per 20 drops and equivalent to 1.1 mL of beer or 0.4 mL of wine per 5 drops. Ethanol content 45% V/V. The amount of alcohol contained in this medicine is unlikely to have any noticeable effect on adults or adolescents. It may have some effects in young children, such as drowsiness. The amount of alcohol in this medicine may affect the effect of other medicines.
