Keratix hyperkeratosis solution is a product to complement the treatment of superficial skin thickening or hyperkeratosis. It is highly effective in cases of hyperkeratotic warts, seborrheic keratoses, calluses or tyloses. It is formulated with salicylic acid.
Keratix hyperkeratosis solution is a product for the treatment of cutaneous hyperkeratosis. It exerts a highly effective keratolytic occlusive action that helps to peel off the excessive horny layer. Its use facilitates the detachment of the thickening or callus. The salicylic acid-based formulation allows the affected skin to be exfoliated, helping in the treatment of this type of problem. It can be used in localised states of skin thickening with or without desquamation. It is highly effective on calluses and keratosis of any type. It is a complete treatment composed of a salicylic acid solution and occlusive patches that enhance the action of the formula.
It is a product with excellent tolerability thanks to the fact that its action is limited to the area of the lesion. Its use greatly minimises the external layer caused by excessive cohesion of the corneal cells or corneocytes. It is effective regardless of the location or degree of intensity of the hyperkeratosis. It acts by dissolving the intracellular cement to achieve desquamation of the thickened horny layer in skin disorders. Although these are not serious conditions, they should be treated because they are bothersome and unsightly. Keratix is a very easy to use product that relieves thickening and promotes normalisation of the skin surface condition.
Keratix hyperkeratosis is indicated for those affected individuals with localised hyperkeratotic lesions with excessive desquamation or thickened stratum corneum.
Use the brush provided by the manufacturer to apply in a localised manner to the affected skin area. It is recommended to apply at night before going to bed; place a small amount of the solution on the lesion and try to avoid using it on healthy skin. Then wait one to two minutes for it to dry. When a whitish layer forms, place the adhesive patch over the lesion and cover. Leave overnight and remove in the morning. Before reapplying the following night, scrape with a file or callus scraper until it gradually disappears.
Under no circumstances should it be applied to moles, birthmarks or warts. Do not use on diabetic patients or patients with peripheral circulation disorders. Do not apply on wounds, genitals, mucous membranes or near the eyes.
