FD Kelvin digital thermometer is a specialised instrument for measuring body temperature to detect if a person has a fever. It has an on/off button and turns off automatically after 10 minutes. It stores the last reading taken to keep track of variations. Press the ON/OFF button and wait for a beep to indicate that it is ready for use. When the display shows 0, it indicates that the reading has started. For oral use, it should be placed under the tongue and the mouth should be kept closed.
In the armpit, check that it is dry, place the thermometer and keep the arm close to the body. After approximately 1 minute the thermometer emits a long beep and the display stops flashing indicating a fixed temperature. Finally the value obtained is observed and the on/off button is pressed.
Not for use in those with skin intolerance to its components. Use in children and young babies should be under the close supervision of a responsible adult.
