What is Hidroxil?

It is a medicine containing the water-soluble vitamins of the B group, such as vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

Its use is indicated in deficiency states of vitamins B1, B6 and B12, reduced absorption or reduced intake, which may manifest as back pain, convalescence or insufficient diets.

Who can take Hidroxil?

  • Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: It is indicated for this age group in cases of deficiency of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 due to increased needs, reduced absorption or insufficient intake.
  • People with specific symptoms: such as muscle pain, constant fatigue, muscle weakness or neurological disorders related to deficiency of B vitamins.

How to take Hidroxil B1 B6 B12?

The usual dose is 1 tablet a day. It is recommended to administer this medicine for 14 days, although your doctor may advise you to take it for a longer period of time.

Contraindications

Do not use Hydroxil B1-B6-B12:

  • In children under 14 years of age.

  • Patients allergic to B vitamins or any of the other substances contained in this medicine are contraindicated.

  • In patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency.

  • If pregnant or breast-feeding.

Precautions

Before you buy Hidroxil, please note:

  • This medicine contains sodium (special care in hypertension).

  • It is contraindicated to take this medicine with alcohol intake, as alcohol decreases the absorption of these vitamins.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Hydroxil B1 B6 B12 may cause side effects. In this case, the following frequent adverse reactions have been observed: digestive discomfort, constipation, vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, allergic reactions, itching, urticaria.

Composition of Hidroxil

The active ingredients in Hidroxil are: thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Specifically, each tablet contains 250 mg of thiamine hydrochloride, 250 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride and 500 micrograms of cyanocobalamin.

The other ingredients are: copovidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch (potato), sodium stearyl fumarate, modified maize starch, citric acid, trisodium citrate, silicon dioxide, silicon dioxide, sodium stearyl fumarate, sodium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium chloridedico citrate, silicon dioxide, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E-171), natural wax, glycerol, medium chain triglycerides and carminic acid (E-120).
