Its main component is dimethicone, a high-density silicone that acts directly on the louse, creating a film around it, preventing contagion from the very first moment. The film reduces the mobility of the louse and causes dehydration and suffocation, so that in a matter of minutes, it is eliminated from the hair area, preventing it from flying and infecting other hair.
The product also contains menthol, a compound that prevents hair dryness and helps to eliminate itching. It is also perfect for keeping hair free from microbial-related hair problems.
It is a lotion suitable for sensitive skin, is hypoallergenic, paraben-free. It comes in a 125 ml presentation.
It is indicated for adults and children over 2 years of age who have lice and nits and wish to eliminate them quickly and permanently.
It is recommended to apply to dry hair with a gentle massage, trying to cover the whole hair area, especially the area behind the ears and the nape of the neck. Keep the product on the hair for 15 minutes to an hour, wearing a cap if preferred. Wash the hair with your usual shampoo. Towel dry and then remove lice and nits with a special comb. One application is usually sufficient, but if the infection continues, it is recommended to repeat the process after 7 days. It is advisable to use a towel over the shoulders before applying the product.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product, its use should be avoided. May be irritating to the skin, so contact with eyes, other mucous membranes or open wounds should be avoided. If this should occur, it is recommended to rinse with plenty of clean water. Its use in children under 6 years of age should be under medical advice. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use it under medical supervision.
