Farimax, 30 tablets

Farimax 30 tablets is a dietary supplement designed to meet the daily requirement of iron, a mineral essential for the formation of red blood cells and the proper transport of oxygen in the body. It is formulated to combat iron deficiency anaemia, to support people with a diet insufficient in iron or to increase iron needs during special periods such as pregnancy, lactation or growth. Its formula is optimised to ensure high absorption and minimise gastrointestinal side effects common with other iron supplements.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

Iron (Ferrous fumarate): 28 mg (intake equivalent to 100% of the RDA*).
Excipients: Lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, among others.
(*) RDA: Recommended Daily Allowance.

Directions for use

Take 1 tablet daily with a glass of water, preferably with a main meal or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Pharmaceutical advice

Iron is an essential mineral, but its absorption can be inhibited by certain foods such as dairy products, tea or coffee. To improve iron absorption, it is recommended to accompany the tablet with foods rich in vitamin C, such as orange juice. It is common to experience mild gastrointestinal discomfort at the start of treatment, but if symptoms persist or are severe, consult your doctor. Keep this product out of the reach of children, as an overdose of iron can be dangerous.
