It is a homeopathic medicine in syrup form used to relieve coughs, both dry and productive (with mucus), thanks to its formula with expectorant and mucolytic properties.
Intended for the relief of cough in adults and children from 1 year of age.
The dose of this medicine varies according to the age of the patient:
- Adults: take 5-10 ml of syrup every hour in the acute phase as a shock treatment, and then use 3 times a day.
- Children over 1 year of age: take 2.5 ml every hour in the acute phase as a shock treatment, and then switch to 3 times a day.
Do not take Expecto DHU:
- In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to aniseed, parahydroxybenzoates or any of the components included in this medicinal product.
- If you suffer from alcoholism.
Expecto DHU may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In the case of homeopathic medicines, their use may temporarily cause an initial aggravation of symptoms. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult a health care professional.
Each 100 g of Expecto DHU syrup contains the following active ingredients: Anisum D1 1.5 g, Bryonia D3 5 g, Drosera D3 5 g, Eucalyptus D3 5 g, Ipecacuanha D4 5 g, Antimonium sulfuratum aurantiacum D6 5 g. The other excipients are: sucrose, purified water, sodium salt of ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-215), sodium salt of methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-219), dilute hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment).
Expectodhu is an effective homeopathic medicine for the relief of both dry and productivecoughs. Its ingredients include bryonia, ansiun, eucalyptus and sundew, among others, used in flu-like processes. It has a pleasant taste and is easy to take thanks to its dosage cap.
